Work Schedule: This is a 24×7 support team. Ideal candidate would be willing to work night and weekend shifts
Responsibilities:
work on L1 tickets on ticketing System.
Setup desktop computers and peripherals and test network connections.
Install and test desktop software applications and internet browsers.
Test computers to ensure proper functioning of computer systems.
Train end users on usage of computer hardware and software.
Experience with:
Desktop & Laptop Hardware.
Windows 7, 8, 10, 11.
Application Software’s like MS Office, Internet Explorers, Adobe etc.
Configuring LAN/Wifi Network.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Educational & Experience:
A bachelor’s degree preferably in information technology, networking, or any other related field.
0 – 6 months of working Experience as a Desktop Engineer.
ITIL v3 certification/experience/Knowledge preferred.
Job Duties:
Work on L1 tickets on the ticketing System.
Handle daily technical support activities on desktop support, data network, and server management.
Set up desktop computers and peripherals and test network connections.
Install and test desktop software applications and internet browsers.
Test computers to ensure the proper functioning of computer systems.
Train end users on the usage of computer hardware and software.
Develop and manage effective professional working relationships with contractor personnel, co-workers, and clients.
Adhere to policies as per corporate manuals and directives.
Extend computer support for systems’ software and hardware.
Set up computers and install software for various applications and programs.
Interact with staff on desktop problems and their resolution.
Network Configuration.
Maintain computer peripheral devices like printers and resolve associated problems.
