Diploma/Post Diploma in Tool Design/Tool and Die Making/Mechanical/Production

Degree in Tooling (Tool and die making from TRTC, CITD, etc.), Mechanical/Production

Work Experience

: 6 to 9 years for Diploma Candidates; 2 to 5 years for BE/BTech (Full Time) candidates

Job Role

:

Conducting Trials & inspections of the Car’s Outer panels (Door, Roof, Hood, Fender, and Side Body Outer) and Inner panels (Door and High Tensile steel parts) on Checking Fixtures.

Capability of identifying & providing countermeasures for panel Quality & die quality issues

Basic know-how of CAE, manufacturing & trials to commissioning, sheet metal parts quality issues, Scan data analysis, and countermeasures for quality maturation.

Job Responsibilities

:

Quality (Panel Inspection & taking Countermeasures on Die)

:

Independently conducting Trials & inspections of the Car’s Outer panels (Door, Roof, Hood, Fender, and Side Body Outer) and Inner panels (Door and High Tensile steel parts).

Capability of identifying & providing countermeasures for panel and die-related issues.

Capable to identify part accuracy issues and propose countermeasures to enhance part accuracy.

Knowledge of understanding CAE results. Comparison of CAE results & actual panels to identify Variations.

The capability of analyzing scan data for panel appearance issues and spring back.

Prepare Panel quality issues records and discussions with Customers & attending model reviews.

Should be flexible to work in shifts & different locations.

Able to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with different stakeholders.

Competencies / Skills

:

Good knowledge of conducting trials and panel inspections on Checking fixtures, Die spotting, Die inspection, Attending Line trials & taking countermeasures in Dies for Panel Quality Improvement.

Experience in the Automobile OEM industry preferred.
