As Test Analyst I, at JPMorgan Chase, you would be expected to independently review user stories, proposed technical solutions, and build and execute tests. You will also be expected to support the design, build, and strategic roll out of an automated testing solution. This role supports the Client Tax Line of Business, to improve operations efficiencies, reduce errors, and generate new revenue streams.
Job Responsibilities:
Day-to-day responsibility of leading the testing effort for assigned user stories covering analysis of user stories along with it’s impact on existing functionalities.
Design, build and execute tests / validation scenarios. Create required test data/set up.
Raise defects and participate in defect management calls
Participate in daily calls and provide accurate updates as well as raise issues and concerns if any
Follow ups for timely resolution of testing issues and regular communication with reporting manager.
Responsibility for the provision of accurate testing estimates within daily scrum calls.
Partner closely with Operations, Product and Technology groups and ensure that UAT team priorities and needs are communicated effectively especially relating to Code Releases and Test environments.
Identification of testing automation opportunities and test synergies within the Project.
Design, build and test the automated tests using intelligent automation solutions which allow team to automate tests and reap some of the benefits including capacity creation, risk reduction, cycle time reduction etc.
Identify and collaborate with key stakeholders on OKRs/KPIs/metrics to deliver benefits from automation built
Ensure adherence to firmwide standards, controls and intelligence automation solutions governance
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
Bachelor’s or Higher Degree
10+ years test design, execute and management experience within the Financial Services industry supporting multiple Line of business (Required)
Expertise in Agile project delivery methodology and skilled to learn and work with evolving methodologies (Required).
Sound knowledge of one or multiple intelligence automation applications and/or programming languages (Required)
Experienced in using of Cucumber / Gherkin / Team City or similar tool (Required).
Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication skills (Required)
Experienced in using Business Driven Development / knowledge of agile development (preferably SAFe), / Test Driven Development test methodology or test case automation (Required). Good technical expertise in CSS Selectors and Xpath.
Knowledge of HTML5, AngularJS and/or ReactJS UI (Required).
Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office Tools (Required)
Experience in developing UI using AngularJS , ReactJS (preferred not required).
Experience of working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins (preferred not required).
Experience in integrating with applications deployed to AWS Cloud (preferred not required).
Able to write VB & Java scripting and Python / JAVA code(preferred not required).
Functional knowledge of Client Tax (preferred not required)
Elevated understanding of skills including business analysis, designing, development, and deployment (preferred not required)
Working knowledge of direct testing with Clearing Houses and Central Banks would be an advantage (preferred not required).
Project / Agile methodology qualification (preferred not required).
Worked in CIB business function, Global Markets, Middle Office, Wholesale Payments or Security Services (preferred not required).
Experienced project team leader (preferred not required).
