Based in our Bangalore Office, PM Group have an opportunity for an experienced Procurement Administrator to join their busy Procurement Department. Reporting to the Commercial Services Manager
You will be responsible for supporting the Procurement Department activities associated with Capital Projects
:
Pre-Qualification of Vendors
Updating information on Vendor database
Filing and management of Vendor data
Assist with and input to the Procurement Package Owners with the
following:
Issue of Request for Quotations (RFQ)
Interaction with Equipment Suppliers during the Procurement
phase of Projects
Preparation of Preliminary Offers for evaluation
Preparing Quotation reports for analysis and Client approval
Preparation of Award Recommendations and Purchase Orders
Expediting of Vendor information
Expediting of Vendor equipment deliveries
Preparing and updating Procurement Status Reports and
Equipment Procurement Schedules
Processing large volumes of invoices and payments for multiple
Projects across various site locations.
Receive, sort and reconcile invoices and supporting documentation
against purchase order terms and conditions
Invoice entry to internal systems
Take ownership of designated tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualification
A high proficiency with Microsoft Excel is essential
Graduate(preferably an engineer) or worked in Engineering firm with 5 to 8 yrs. experience
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prepare, organize, and maintain records / files for a web based platform
Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in an Engineering, Supplier or Contractor organisation would be preferable but not essential
Good knowledge of Incoterms, tendering and purchasing methods and procedures would be desired and beneficial, but may not be essential
Ability to co-ordinate with internal multi-discipline team and inter departmental co-ordination
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English is essential
Strong work ethic, sense of responsibility and confidentiality
An organised self-starter who is attentive to detail and able to work independently
Ability to prioritise work and manage multiple tasks, likely with Competing priorities
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute effectively within a team environment
Able to maintain a professional demeanour in challenging situations
Able to work on international project and conversant with the working culture
