(Plans computerized databases, including base definition, structure, documentation, long-range requirements,
operational guidelines and protection. Ensures accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various
support tools, such as base dictionaries. Establishes and maintains security and integrity controls. Formulates
and monitors policies, procedures and standards relating to database management. Proposes and implements
enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system. Note: May be internal or external,
client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions. May include
company-wide, web-enabled solutions.ected)

Working at NTT

• Candidate should be well versed with all Oracle database administration activities for a variety of applications using, Oracle9i, 10g & 11g on various flavors of UNIX, LINUX and Windows environments
• More specifically, the activities will include database creation, configuring Standby/Data guard databases and RAC installation, migration and upgrade of oracle databases, database performance and tuning, implementation of backup/recovery scripts, RMAN, 24×7 support.
• Backup & Recovery procedures
• Expertise in supporting Oracle RAC
• Database performance tuning & monitoring tools
• Experience on High availability clustering
• Disaster-Recovery experience including Data guard Environment would be added advantage
• Basic Shell scripting
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) would be an advantage
