Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Events Sales and Marketing Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and promoting our event services to potential clients. Your goal will be to maximize revenue through effective marketing strategies and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
1. **Sales and Business Development:**
– Identify potential clients and target markets for banquet and event services.
– Proactively reach out to corporate clients, event planners, and individuals to promote our banquet and events offerings.
– Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
– Collaborate with the sales team to create enticing packages and offerings to attract diverse clientele.
2. **Marketing Strategies:**
– Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to increase event bookings and revenue.
– Utilize various channels such as social media, email marketing, and advertising to reach a wider audience.
– Analyse market trends and competitor offerings to ensure our offerings remain competitive and relevant.
3. **Event Coordination:**
– Work closely with clients to understand their event requirements and customize packages to meet their needs.
– Coordinate with internal departments to ensure all aspects of events, including catering, dcor, setup, and logistics, are executed seamlessly.
– Provide guidance and recommendations to clients on event setup, menu selections, and other arrangements.
4. **Customer Relationship Management:**
– Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales and event planning process.
– Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
– Act as the main point of contact for clients and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
5. **Sales Reporting and Analysis:**
– Keep accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and bookings.
– Generate regular sales reports and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of sales and marketing strategies.
– Identify areas for improvement and suggest actionable recommendations.
6. **Networking and Industry Engagement:**
– Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand your professional network and promote our banquet services.
– Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually enhance our offerings.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
– Proven track record in sales and marketing, preferably in the hospitality or event industry.
– Strong communication and negotiation skills.
– Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
– Creativity in designing marketing campaigns and event packages.
– Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
– Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
– Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by the nature of the events.
