ABB Looking for Production Supervisor at Nashik, Maharashtra Full Time

You will be working as Production Supervisor and will be part of Electrification Business Area for Smart Power division based in Nashik, India. In this role you will be reporting to Operations Manager and will be responsible for acting with safety, efficiency, quality and productivity to assure that products and systems meet stated requirements.

Your responsibilities

Conducting test protocols as assigned to ensure the products and systems that are created by the local organization meet specified requirements and customer expectations

Assisting engineering staff to develop test protocols as necessary to investigate the integrity of new products, or new functionality for existing products

Providing support to other functional teams as needed to deploy incoming test protocols and to perform first article Inspections

Utilizing safety systems to perform work, resulting in an accident-free workplace. Notifying others when unsafe situations are observed and working with local HSE(Health Safety Environment) team to improve the safety systems

Working with department staff to improve existing test protocols and capability, resulting in greater efficiency, accuracy and reliability of test outcomes

Collecting, recording and evaluating Lean 6 Sigma, engineering standards and specifications, the quantitative metrics that provide descriptive data for the determination of compliance to requirements

Training machine operators in basic quality test routines to support quality-at-source processes and verifying quality assurance testing performed as a part of the value creation process

Your background

Bachelor’s degree on Electrical or Electronics engineering

Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience in testing and quality

Strong experience in testing and quality of low voltage switchboard products

Good communication skills
