Job Description:
A) Duties and Responsibilities :
1. Statutory position as per DGMS – Mines Foreman/Blaster

2. To ensure safety of men and machines at mines during Drilling & blasting operation.

3. To ensure qualitative & quantitative planning of blast for feeding of limestone to Crusher.

4. To ensure statutory compliances as per guidelines of PESO, DGMS, IBM & Environment authorities.

Degree / Diploma in Mining having Second Class or Mines Foreman certificate by DGMS

4-6 Years

1. Shall worked as Asst. Manager / Shift Foreman.

2. Allocation of Drill hole points and blasting activity.

3. Maintenance of Records, registers and online records.

4. Supervision of entire blasting operation and shift operation along-with adherence of safety & statutory requirement.

1. Knowledge of Drilling, Blasting and shift operation.

2. Handling of manpower – departmental & contractual.

3. Understanding statutory and basic requirement of PESO & DGMS related to precautionary measures in Shift operation as well as Blasting operation.

1. Knowledge & Experience of Microsoft office and SAP.

2. Knowledge of Management Systems like ISO-9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 & WCM.

B) Goals / KRA to be assigned:
1 To achieve targeted quantity & quality blasted material of limestone.

2 Achieve the desired productivity of HEMM & HEO as well by proper rock fragmentation.

3 Advanced planning for marking and drilling of hole to ensure timely conductance of blasting activity.

4 Maintenance of various statutory registers and records as per Explosive Rules, 2008 and Ammonium Nitrate Rules, 2012.

5 Knowledge of generation of PASS FOR USE at PESO portal before conducting blast.

6 Effective utilization of manpower (Departmental and Casual) & machineries within shift.

7 Maintenance of records in SAP.

4-6 Years
