Job purpose& Scope

To assess the Transportation needs at Branch Warehouse level , provide for secondary freight optimization solutions.

Major Areas of Responsibilities

Looking after the movement of finished goods from Warehouse to Distributor/ Projects site

RFQ Analysis for secondary Transportation .

Transportation Cost Analysis

Providing the monthly cost Analysis / Secondary Transport .

Working on Route Optimization Module.

Confirmation on Provision on Monthly / Quarterly basis.

Development of new Transporter – Small FTL/ Cargo .

Efficiency Management – On time Delivery = 72Hours as per RREP

Management of Secondary transporters and fleet owners

Creating centralized process of appointment of transporters and fleet owners.

Ensuring secondary Agreement

Monthly freight Provisioning & Monitoring against actuals.

Procedure for Lodging / Settlement of transit claims on Transporters and Insurance claims

Procedure for recovery of penalty charges from Transporters

Audit compliance

Creation and implementation of SOPs to bring efficiency in system.

Process Improvement

Mechanism on the freight tracking .
