Evaluation of Problematic Soils Treated with Different Bacterial Strains as a

Foundation Material” under the supervision of Prof. Anasua GuhaRay and Dr. A.

Raghuram (Dept. of Civil Engg.) and Prof. P. Sankar Ganesh and Prof. Jayati Ray Dutta

(Dept. of Biological Sciences).

• Experimental investigations of

shear strength of soft soil

through bacterial inclusions.

• Developing numerical model for

predicting the behavior of soil

with bacterial inclusions.

M.E. / M.Tech. in

Geotechnical

Engineering (Civil

Engineering) with

preliminary knowledge in

Biological Sciences

• Experience in conducting

extensive laboratory

testing with knowledge in

finite element analysis.

• Age Limit: 30 years

Fellowship: ₹37,000 – ₹42,000 per month (based on the year of PhD and performance)
