As our International Freight Support assistant, you will be responsible for managing the import, export, and cross-trade of all components and finished goods & coordinating these activities from sales to either Bradken sites or Bradken customers.
You will play a vital role in supporting both the Import and Export coordinators by handling the administrative aspects of these functions. With your help, we can ensure that all freight transactions are carried out accurately and transparently, while also maintaining consistent processes throughout. Your contributions will be greatly appreciated!
As an efficient team player, you will collaborate closely with the Import and Export coordinators to establish and implement standardized distribution procedures. You will have the important task of coordinating the export and cross-trade process, which includes packing, booking freight forwarders, and preparing shipping documentation.
Your responsibility also involves promptly following up on confirmations from both internal parties at Bradken and external suppliers. Additionally, you will keep the Order FF teams informed about the progress being made. Your contributions will be invaluable in ensuring a smooth and successful distribution process.
As a highly organized administration professional, you will excel at providing timely and comprehensive information to both the broader Freight team and Sales Teams. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying opportunities to optimize freight costs across Bradken’s component and product movement. Your dedication to streamlining processes will greatly contribute to the success of the company.
Key Criteria
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Freight forwarding / handling experience is desirable.
Understanding of Freight regulations will be a plus.
Administrative skills
We are open to the role being based in Hybrid Setup in Coimbatore ( 2-3 days of work from office & 2-3 days work from home)
