Description

As Paintshop shift Incharge Providing safe working environment to subordinates, Ensure the implementation of preventive maintenance (PM) and update the PM plan timely.

Good Knowledge in Paintshop, Monitoring and maintain the Paintshop parameters. ,

Provide a professional training for technicians about Paintshop continuously and a guidance to support maintenance activities in both electrical and mechanical equipment repairs.

This Job role requires to collaboratively work with technical department engineers, Section Managers, Team Members, and others. various cross functional team to achieve the Customer Expectation and Cost Target

This job role requires read and understand the Paintshop machine maintenance manuals and electrical diagrams.

This job role requires Communicate with equipment vendors or service department to clarify the subject for machine breakdown.

Provide a Guidance to the employees and gives direction and assignments to non-Caterpillar employees.

Good Knowledge in evaluation and recommendation of contractor’s services for use in selecting contractors for future projects.

This job role requires Plan and perform Shift Uptime, efficiency of the Paintshop machines need to sustain as per metrics, Paint booth quality, Jig’s output, dust control, Paint process waste, VOC parameters and hazardous handling as per TNPCB Norms

The position supervises or manages of Paintshop primarily salaried or hourly employees where planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reviewing work of subordinates is required.

The position is responsible for Paintshop expense budgets, capital forecasts and expenditures control.

The position often confronts Paintshop complex issues and problems that require careful analysis and diagnosis.

Basic Qualifications

BE (Mechanical or Electrical) with 10 years and above experience

Top Candidates will also have

Preferred Minimum 5 Year of Paintshop maintenance related experience and good knowledge.

Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills Desired Qualifications Prior experience working in a Facility and Maintenance

Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and customers

Work location- Thiruvallur

% of Travel – 5%
