Qualification & Experience:• B.E/B.Tech /MBA7 – 15 years experience in Supply Chain and Procurement and driving Transformation programsThe objectives of the role are:(a) Lead Functional Excellence and Transformation projects across Procurement in partnership with all verticals in the function.(b) Coordinate with Global CoEs & Procurement community for market adoption of Improve initiatives(c) Drive the Sustainability agenda within Procurement and supplier base to aid Diageo’s 2030 targets(d) Devise & coordinate execution of a review framework across procurement for Run, Improve & Transform(e) Design, develop & manage reporting & updates across procurement areas(f) Direct oversight into operations of procurement transactions desk including TMU Helpdesk(g) Develop and drive a governance framework for Procurement to track progress on Run, Improve and Transform goals(h) Support capability enhancement agenda and embed best practices across the function(i) Develop and execute a framework for risk management and ensuring compliance to policiesKnowledge & Skills:Strong understanding of Procurement processes such as Categories’ Strategy Development, Sourcing, SPM/SRM and implementation thereof- Adept at building relationships with and influence diverse set of team members and stakeholders in Procurement and across Supply- Experience in process improvement, technology development and transformation projects- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and cross functional teams at global level- Self motivated and able to prioritize effectively- Ability to drive change management and communications to enable the transformation agendaAreas of Responsibility:Drive Transformational Project:1. Responsible for the management of the full project life cycle of projects and work streams identified as part of Procurement Transformation2. Coordinate these multiple work streams of procurement transformation to ensure consistency across (1) vision and strategy; (2) policy and process; (3) technology; and (4) organization goals3. Ensure full visibility of project delivery status including timelines, risks & issues, key milestones for Procurement leadership and stakeholders4. Facilitate the shaping of clear requirements through effective engagement with stakeholders, ensuring the quality of delivery against requirements5. Keep track of project budget, resource planning and benefits delivery; proactively manage risks to delivery6. Work with stakeholders across multiple functions to ensure implementation7. Support Improve projects like CLMT, Vendor Portal, Vendor Rationalization with sustained execution2.Procurement Governance:1. Run key governance programs like Supplier Collaboration Model (incl. SPM & SRM), Contract Management, Supplier Diversity program2. Run/ Support monthly Tier 4 Improve which will be a review of strategic “Improve the business” projects to ensure they are on track to deliver projected benefits and on track in line with project plan3. Ensure adherence to overall Diageo framework under SoA, PS, and work with Finance, CARM, Manufacturing, IT and Procurement team to ensure process validation.3.Key coordinator for STB with GBO:1. Serve as nodal point of contact for DBSI & Finance transformation for ensuring improvement on overall payment processing, query resolution, vendor reco, master data maintenance etc2. Work with MDM team, vendors as well as RM/PM to ensure updation and validation of vendor master data, optimization and rationalization of the vendor base and institution of regular review mechanisms towards ensuring data updation3.
