Duration: Full Time
Program Management: – Develop a detailed framework and action plan as per the template and program results framework shared by partner organizations.
Monitoring and Evaluation: – Ensure that the centre coordinator collects and fills out data according to the templates, and that frequent monitoring visits are scheduled according to the calendar.
Networking and Capacity building: –
Ensure:
Proper networking and communication with government officials at the District and Block levels.
Proper orientation of District and Block level Officials
Joint monitoring visits with officials from the District, Block, and Cluster levels.
Implementation: – Ensure proper program implementation at the ground level in line with the guidelines, as well as handholding and capacity building of centre coordinators/beneficiaries to ensure smooth running of the centre.
Documentation and Reporting: – The District Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining crucial project documents that track project progress. They will maintain all project documents in an appropriate database or library and ensure that all documents are accurate.
Maintain Project Timeline: – The District Coordinator will closely monitor the project schedule, keeping track of deadlines for each project task. They will check on a regular basis to make sure that all deadlines are met and will report any potential delays.
Coordination: The District Coordinator will be the support system for the centre coordinator, who will report to the Program Officers to provide ongoing support to other coordinators in their organisation and cascade the mentoring forward, centre observation, weekly catch ups, preparing for digital learning sessions, strengthening the centre coordinator’s relationship with stakeholders, and driving district level efforts to increase program visibility.
Training: The district coordinator will assist the centre coordinator in providing digital literacy training. They will also assist the partner coordinators in the ongoing monthly engagement that has just begun by:
Curating content and supporting the centre coordinator
Following up on the monthly engagement meet-ups
Core skills: –
Thorough familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and project scheduling computer applications.
Ability to work effectively as a team member and independently.
Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure, trouble-shoot, and to meet short-and long-term deadlines.
Excellent critical, creative thinking and analytical skills.
Educational Qualification: – Graduate in relevant field
Competency / Specialization: – Project Management, Coordination, and Networking Skills
Experience: – 0-1 years of Experience in Development Sector
Relevant Experience: – Experience in Social Sector
Communication Skills: – Can read and write in English and Hindi
Computer Literacy: – MS Word, Excel & Power Point.
