DocuSign Looking for CloudOps Engineer – Azure & Python at Bgalore Full Time

Responsibilities

• Write Infrastructure-as-Code automation scripts to manage and deploy infrastructure in the cloud using technologies such as Azure ARM/Bicip, Terraform, and/or Pulumi.
• Work with engineers to understand and help enable hosting, security, performance, and deployments.
• Understand “Shift Left” and Zero Trust
• Roll out new software components and upgrades across the server environment
• Configure backups and restores of servers as needed
• Review resource utilizations and perform optimizations to keep environment running healthy
• Perform proactive and reactive vulnerability remediations and work with security teams to further DocuSign’s security posture in Azure
• Manage Azure Compute resources with high availability across multiple zones and regions
• Configure and manage Azure resources
• Deploy Azure networking devices such as Load Balancers, Application Gateways, Virtual Networks, UDRs, and more.
• Provide off-hours production support as required
• Perform additional duties as required to maintain a robust and available environment
• Work with Azure DevOps build and release pipelines to deploy cloud Infrastructure.
• Manages and administers AD, Group Policy, Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) and certificates.

MinimumQualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
• 5+ years of experience performing Software and/or Infrastructure Engineering related responsibilities
• 5+ years of experience in advanced scripting and automation
• 5+ years of experience managing resources in a cloud-based server environment
• Solid understanding of how to work incidents to resolution with minimal impact along with automating self-healing solutions
• Knowledge of various incident management processes
• Familiarity with Active Directory
• Familiarity with constructing and managing immutable infrastructure such as Terraform, Bicep, Ansible, etc.

Preferred

• Knowledge of Linux and/or Windows operating systems
• Moderate understanding of networking and troubleshooting through various OSI layers
• Strong knowledge of deploying and hosting mission critical web applications and services
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes desired.
• Proficient in scripting using bash and/or PowerShell
• Experience with Configuration management tools like Azure DevOps (ADO), Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or PowerShell DSC
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure best practices related to networking, security, compute, and serverless architectures.
• Strong people skills, team orientation and a professional yet fun attitude.
• Intellectual curiosity, along with excellent problem-solving and quantitative skills, including the ability to disaggregate issues, identify root causes and recommend solutions.
• Experience with monitoring and telemetry software such as Grafana, DataDog, New Relic, etc.
• Ability to perform in a fast paced and dynamic business environment.

This Position

DocuSigns CloudOps team is looking for an enthusiastic, self-starting, versatile Cloud Engineer to join our growing team in supporting the DocuSign Azure Cloud platform. The ideal candidate is experienced in networking and systems engineering with a strong understanding of enterprise cloud fundamentals and architecture. They are also knowledgeable in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices, implementing security controls, and monitoring environment health. To be successful in this role, the candidate must embrace DevOps/GitOps practices and have a passion for automation. An ideal candidate is highly motivated and able to take on operational tasks and work on project initiatives with guidance from senior engineers.

This position is an individual contributor reporting to the Director, Cloud Operations and is designated Hybrid.
