Don Bosco Tech Society is looking for an experienced professional who can connect with key employers and generate placement opportunities for the program beneficiaries on regular basis. The detail job description has been shared below:

Designation: Cluster placement coordinator

Department: Placements

Location: Munger, Jamalpur, Bihar

Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop placement procedures and initiate the pre-placement activities

Facilitate the process of placements for eligible trainees with respective employers

Liaison with new employers as per the required placements at national level

Ensure high placement ratio and other parameter as per project guidelines

Visit the centers regularly to council and motivate trainees for career development, career skills, and career opportunities

Supervise placement coordinators, deploy them to their respective markets and geographical areas for required placement activities

Maintain required documentation of placed trainees

Ensure placement tracking followed for every batch

Conduct post placement survey after every batch completion

Provide weekly/monthly report as and when required

Troubleshooting any other issues related to placement

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor Degree

Minimum 1 years of experience in Placements

In-depth understanding of livelihood sector and programs especially related to employability, entrepreneurship and market based solutions

Experience to connect with employers with IT industry will be an added advantage

Ability to forecast the trends for new age skills

Core Competencies

Ability to create and catalyze partnerships with multiple stakeholders

Well informed of labor market trends, employer needs and best practices in career services

Strong networking and representation skills with both internal and external stakeholders

High level of team management, Interpersonal skills & facilitation skills

Strong computer skills

Fluency in English (both oral and written) and local language

Willing to travel extensively to and within project locations
