Role Description
Assistant Producers are responsible for facilitating a project and are involved in every stage of the film or video, overseeing the project from beginning to end.
This role requires the candidate to oversee various components which includes but not limited to video editing, audio editing and voiceover recording, motion graphics or animation, quality control and manage the team of operators to ensure the content is delivered successfully to the client’s brief.
Responsibilities
A thorough knowledge of the following is mandatory for the person.
Directs the activities of subordinates to maintain the EKCS standards of creative excellence, timeliness, and profitability, while achieving the clients’ goals.
Ensures the timely development and execution of plans and projects to assure earnings, growth, and profit goals are achieved.
Tracks and schedules video and multimedia projects through all stages of production
Maintains direct communication with client and ensures all clients’ expectations are met
Reads, researches and assess ideas and finished scripts
Reviews assembled films or edited videotapes to determine if corrections are necessary
Collects and analyzes video analytics and conducts thorough quality check of each and every film before it is released to the client
Assists with recording audio, video, and screen captures, and editing videos as necessary
Supervises the progress of the project from production to post-production
Oversees the quality and progress of audio and video engineering and editing
Experiments with styles and techniques including the design of graphic elements
Uses computer software packages for budgeting, scheduling, and tracking
Selects and combines the most effective shots of each scene to form a logical and smoothly running story, following scripts or instructions of client’s requirements
Oversees creative consultations with account teams to assure appropriate creative strategies, adequacy/accuracy of input, schedules, budgets, production support, necessary reviews, and client presentations.

Listening Skills – Ability to understand and comprehend US accent. Familiarity with other accents will be preferred. Ability to understand and comprehend financial thought leadership videos
Reading and Comprehension – Ability to read and comprehend task details as required
Problem Solving Skills – Ability to investigate a problem, attain necessary information, hypothesize possible solutions, analyze scenarios, and engage in the decision making necessary to resolve problems and move work through a process

Preferred Qualification and Experience
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in video production, media, film, or related field preferred Or equivalent with work experience of minimum 5 years with a Broadcaster, Production House or equivalent as a producer specializing as a Post Production Producer.
Should be comfortable in working in night shifts
Expected to understand client instructions. Collate footage, conduct checks on footage and instructions are received.
QC to be an imp part of the role. Extensive knowledge of HTML editors, photo editing software, and video editing software.
Familiar with different editing, graphics and animation platforms. Should be familiar with different types of video formats and editing and graphics tools.
Proficient in the use of MS Office, primarily Word, Excel and Outlook; also proficient working in other applications like Acrobat Reader, etc. and has the ability to save files in the shared folder. Expected to monitor QC and fill trackers.
