Evonik Looking for Assistant Manager – Indirect Tax at New Delhi Full Time

Job Title : Assistant Manager – Indirect TaxReporting to : Head of Tax – India Region & SAP Business ProcessEntity : Evonik IndiaWork Location : MumbaiPurpose of the position :This position majorly operates within the framework of Indirect Tax (GST).To ensures timely statutory compliance, audit, and litigation under GST Laws.Key Responsibilities :INDIRECT TAX – Goods and Services TaxCompliances and Payments :Preparation and timely filing of GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR -3B, GSTR-6) on monthly basis.Timely processing of the GST related payments on monthly basis.Annual Return, Audit :Providing necessary details in required format to GST auditors for filing of GST Audit Report and Annual Returns.Coordinating and Ensure timely completion of GST Audit and Annual Returns with help of consultants.Reconciliation:Performing reconciliation between GST ledger accounts and GST returns.Performing reconciliation between Input tax Credit as per books and GST returns.Performing reconciliation of Sales No’s between Balance Sheet and GST returns.Registers:Preparation of GST registers on monthly basis – Sales, Input Tax Credit and Reverse Charge.Assessment, Notices and Litigation:Keep record of all notices received and replied from/to GST authorities.Ensure timely filing of replies to GST notices issued by GST authorities.REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION*Education, Certification and/or relevant experience requiredQualification:B. Com / M. Com / Inter CA with minimum 5 years of experience/ CA fresher with experience of Indirect Taxation (GST) in MNCs or CA Firm.Conversant with MS office is must.
