Should know the standards for lab tests

 Supervise the collection of samples, preparing standard solutions, testing,

interpreting test findings and recommending operational changes based on these

findings, and conducting studies from collected data to determine the most efficient

and economical treatment methods.

 Quality control testing of incoming chemical shipments for conformance with

contract specifications.

 Clean, maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment on regular

intervals.

 Maintain comprehensive system of records for all-laboratory procedures and

analyses including quality assurance and quality control plans.
