Job Summary

Support and maintenance of Giant Eagles HR systems and provide leadership to entry level analysts. This position serves as a technical point of contact for HR leaders and managers to ensure all HR system transactions are executed correctly and provide support as needed as well as identifying process improvements. The HRIS Analyst leads the testing efforts related to system releases & testing. They support reporting, documentation, other HR systems and executes other technical projects as assigned.

Job Description

• Experience Required: 3 to 5 years HRIS experience; 1 to 3 years experience with WorkDay
• Education Desired: Bachelors Degree

Job Responsibilities

• Help chain for HR Analyst, Associate
• Possess business knowledge and be able to support multiple business areas within Workday (Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting, Absence, Compensation, Talent, Learning)
• Support foundational configuration for multiple business areas with minimal or no assistance from other team members. (ex. Benefit Groups, Benefit Plans, Payroll Deductions, Learning Courses, Job Profiles, Job Grades, Time Off Plans, etc)
• Support advance configuration concepts for a business area (step progressions, reciprocity, etc)
• Assist with developing standards and best practices
• Follow configuration review procedures
• Develop and facilitate training classes/sessions as needed

• Support integrations and file transfers with external third parties

  develop & maintain reporting & dashboards; this includes internal and customer facing reports utilize all 6 report types with no assistance from other team members; perform Reporting Administrator role and execute admin responsibilities

• Define, develop and deliver insights & operational metrics for the performance of business areas thru reporting and analytics

• All HRIS Analyst, Associate responsibilities
