Giant Eagle GCC Looking for Front END Senior Developer at Karnataka s Full Time

Job Summary

We pride ourselves on building with the best tools we have in the industry. We use React as our main rendering engine. We also have products in NextJS and love to code in Typescript. We use Apollo Client to connect to GraphQL and we like to keep our test coverage high. We also use Storybook to document and maintain our components.

Job Description

• Create high-quality and enjoyable user experiences by building interfaces that are simple,
  intuitive, performant, and reliable.

• Have autonomy to build, test, and ship user-facing features in modern tools like React,
  GraphQL, Typescript, and Apollo.

• Identify and plan initiatives to enhance our systems, codebases, and team dynamics and
  maintain/improve code quality.

• You think in terms of testing (TDD)

• You have strong initiative and usually like to take the lead on problems you discover.

• You love to collaborate and create a sense of community together with your fellow
  engineers.

• Build and maintain reusable code (components, tools, utils) and libraries for future use.

• Help guide our front-end stack by selecting the right tools and libraries for the job.

• Assist in documenting, debugging, evaluating, and unit-testing projects.

• Mentor and pair-program with junior software engineers and other teams.

Requirements:

• You have at least 2-3 years of experience in front-end web development and Javascript

• You have at least 2+ years of experience working with React. JS.

• You can code in Typescript

• You know how to work with GraphQL backends

• You have experience working collaboratively with product managers and designers.

• You are an excellent communicator that can explain the technical subject matter to a
  non-technical audience in an understandable and impactful manner.

• You have meticulous attention to detail.

• You continue to learn and keep up with the latest Frontend engineering practices and
  news.
