We are looking for a talented, dedicated professional to be a China-based Recruitment Officer for UC Riverside in the USA. The role will be based in North or East China and will be fully dedicated to representing UC Riverside.

Profile of candidate
The Student Recruitment Officer, based in North or East China, will work full-time to intensively support UCR’s student recruitment endeavors. Primary responsibilities include managing student recruitment activities across China, nurturing relationships with study abroad agents, high schools, and other educational partners, and fostering ties with school counselors. Additionally, the officer will lead in the follow-up and conversion of offer-holders, assist in brand building, and participate in digital marketing activities. An ideal candidate possesses experience representing a US or other foreign educational institution in student recruitment or related study abroad efforts. This role demands sophisticated interactions with UCR’s administration and faculty, with significant travel requirements estimated at 40%.
The Most Suitable Background
At least 3-4 years of experience in increasingly responsible roles related to education or international education.
Experience representing a known institution will be a plus.
Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance.
Marketing experience would be an advantage.
Strong English fluency. Proficient in business writing. Able to discuss strategy and analysis with English speakers.
Study or experience abroad is strongly preferred. Study or experience in the USA is even better.
