Work on create/develop suppliers for Material sourcing in India for the Opco’s. The Role requires cross-functional program management to qualify new components, developing new suppliers, increase capacity, and auditing suppliers to ensure process conformance along with the Opco’s Operations team.Responsibilities:Research market information to identify potential suppliers and Drive supplier selection through robust qualification processesLead Sourcing projects for the Opco’s in IndiaEngage with the International Operations teams to facilitate and manage the defined expectationsCommunicate efficiently throughout procurement/SourcingTrack the supplier’s performance indicators to facilitate and develop the supply base’s ability to consistently meet or exceed defined expectationsPlay the role of a Buyer to Manage PO released on the suppliers by the Opco’sEnsure the Quality Standards/requirements are deliveredCritical Success factors:Global Key Account ManagementCommercial and financial acumenProject Management SkillsKnowledge of International standards ASTM, ANSI Etc.Academic qualification:BE/B. Tech/Diploma in Metallurgy/Mechanical/Chemical EngineeringExperience:8 to15 Years of Experience in Material/Strategic Sourcing rolesExperience in sourcing Metal/Plastic/Sheetmetal/Rubber/PCB materials/components
