You will be the one to calculate wages based on hours worked and administer payments.payroll specialist can use payroll software (ADP) with accuracy and efficiency. They are good with numbers and can be trusted with sensitive information. They also have great communication skills to interact with colleagues and executives.Should have hands-on experience in the USResponsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll, including tax filings and regulatory complianceAdherence to monthly SLA metrics and other prominent deliverablesServes as liaison to employees and with third party payroll vendors to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company specific pay policies.Partner with HR & Finance teams where required to ensure coordination and information sharing between the teams for seamless deliveryProcess mapping and documentation is developed, updated, and maintainedAttend and resolve payroll queries and provide accurate information to stakeholders as per agreed SLA.Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently.Ability to manage multiple project assignments in a deadline-driven environmentShould have a minimum 2-5 years of experience in managing Payroll across the USBachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Finance/ Accountancy/ HRM or its equivalentGood communication skills.Excellent working knowledge of MS Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Solid analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.A multi-tasker with the ability to prioritize workload and accurately work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environmentgoal is to ensure employees receives the correct compensation in a timely manner.ResponsibilitiesGather information on hours worked for each employeeCalculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. with assistance of a computer systemReceive approval from upper management for payments when neededAdminister statements of payment to employees either electronically or on paperProcess taxes and payment of employee benefitsKeep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiorsPrepare reports for upper management, finance department etc.Requirements and skillsProven experience as payroll specialistSolid understanding of accounting fundamentals andpayroll best practicesVerify and review exit clearance formalities and process employee F&F accordingly.
