Job purpose

Responsible for functions in the areas of recruitment, training and development, people and performance management, social welfare as well as updating and maintenance of HR records

Lateral hiring

• Identify channels for targeting required talent i.e. headhunters, online databases, forums, referrals etc.
• Oversee end-to-end hiring process at corporate and for senior positions across UBL from shortlisting of potential incumbents, managing and conducting assessments and interviews, to offer negotiations
• Provide oversight to the manufacturing units for hiring at the junior levels i.e. from JMC1 to M5 levels. Step in only for offer negotiation
• Ensure background verification by vendors for Manager and above positions

Campus recruitment

• Identify campuses to visit for the different talent needs
• Build relationships with campuses to get the best hiring day possible
• Build employer brand image at the campus through sending across brochures, pre-placement talks, case competitions etc.Provide oversight for the assessment and interview process for candidate selection. Roll out final offers to each candidate and settle required formalities with the campus

Onboarding

• Communicate with candidates who are about to join on a regular basis about the company
• Lead induction and on-boarding for selected candidates across levels guiding team to manage logistics, travel, accommodation. Handover to HRBPs post Day 1 joining and completion of HR formalities
• Manage internships coordinating for trainee onboarding, allocation of stints and projects, policy information Provide oversight to team for managing leave, travel, and reimbursement across UBL. Intervene in case of conflicts to ensure speedy resolution
