Your Role and Responsibilities

We’re looking for an experienced, motivated hands-on engineer who brings ideas about large-scale design, microservices, DevOps principles, Containers and Container Orchestration technologies; As a Senior quality assurance engineer, you’ll apply your deep expertise in designing, testing and delivering a world class solution for microservices and managing software delivered as Containers. You need to be versatile, display leadership qualities and open minded to take on new problems that our customers face. The day-to-day responsibilities include

Design and develop test framework for for microservices and containerization technology strategies which includes, proficient in Java and Golang and writing rest assured test frameworks

Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases

Promote test driven development by engaging very early in the requirement gathering phase of product development

Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities

Help developers implement testing in their development processes

Own and nurture the test spectrum and extending that all the way out into production.

Provide input on new or modified product/application system features or enhancements for user documentation. Reviews user documentation for technical accuracy and completeness.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Strong knowledge of software development tools and methods; test design and configuration; related systems, applications, products and services.

Good understanding of Software test principles

Good understanding of microservices and docker/container/cloud tecnologies

Proven work experience in software development and software quality assurance

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes

Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases

Strong knowledge of SQL and scripting

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent presentation skills

Ability to test and analyze data and provide recommendations; to organize tasks and determine priorities ; Ability to provide guidance to less experienced personnel.

Hands-on experience with Databases like Oracle or similar

Proven debugging and troubleshooting skills (memory, performance etc)

Passion for Container technologies

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Skills in Selenium, Protractor, Rest Assured

Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus

Understanding of public hyperscalers like AWS, Azure etc
