We are looking for Business Development Managers who will be responsible for the acquisition of agent partners on a monthly basis; in line with the overall regional plan. You’ll facilitate servicing for the students in terms of processing the transactions. You should be driven, self-motivated, and highly passionate about working in the Ed-tech space while helping the students understand the entire journey of remitting money to the university. You will work closely with a diverse group of people coming from leading MNCs such as McKinsey, BCG, KPMG, Deloitte, EY, and startups such as Byju’s, Paytm, etc. to establish, nurture, and grow business across categories & territories. What will you do:
Identify and develop strategic relationships with potential partners.
Responsible for turnover and income targets set for the products for the respective location.
Consistent follow-up with clients via phone calls or emails through the client activation process.
Ensure retention; regular service calls to existing agent partners.
Participate in the company’s marketing activities and promotional campaigns for customer acquisition and conversion.
Strive to cross-sell other products of the organization viz Accommodation services & Student Loans.
Build cross-discipline relationships in the organization, partnering closely with the growth and marketing team, and providing feedback and insights.
What will you need:
Bachelor’s degree, with 4 to 5 years of related experience in the financial industry or fintech sectors preferred
Should have a demonstrable network in the outbound student remittance market, student consultants, exchange companies, etc.
Should have consistently performed in a sales environment either in an AD2 or sales profile.
Proficiency in the use of MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint experience would be
