Job Title: SERVER ADMINISTRATOR (L3)Note : – This is Work From Office position in Ahmedabad, GujaratReports To: VP / Sr. VP – ITPosition Mission:This role will ensure that all employees have the required technology to get their jobs done, by providing a reliable IT assets, network access and security, whether working ON or OFF Site. Ensuring data and information security coupled with planning and execution of effective IT environment at the organization.Responsibilities:Experience as Server Administrator in large IT infrastructure environmentsIn depth understanding of technology systems in the enterprise & Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019/2022 Servers & Windows 8/10/11 Operating SystemsHands on experience of Active Directory integration, troubleshooting & MaintenanceExcellent experience of Virtual clustering and troubleshooting using different Hypervisors, e.g., Hyper-V and VMwareExtensive understanding collaboration tools, e.g., Office 365, Google Suite & Skype/MS Teams for BusinessHands on experience & deep knowledge5m of AWS Cloud, MS Azure Cloud or Google cloudSignificant and successful experience designing, implementing and managing Office 365 in the enterprise, including but not limited to Exchange Online, Azure, SharePoint, OneDrive, ADFS, OneNote, etc.Strong technology analytical and design skillsExcellent business continuity and disaster recovery methodologies and practiceExperience in data backup & data restoration of ServerResponsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performanceSignificant Knowledge & Experience in:Installing, configuring and maintaining of HP/Dell/Lenovo/IBM blade systems and servers in the enterpriseManaging Microsoft Active Directory in the enterprise, including creating bulk user accounts, deleting and modifying user accounts, setting up e-mail, home directories with the TCP/IP v4 and v6 protocol, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, SMTP, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, ICMPCreate and manage accounts on Active Directory and Office 365Managing Antivirus in an enterprise like McAfee, Seqrite, Symantec or any otherMicrosoft SQL knowledgeProject managing the implementation of enterprise technology server and systemsPowerShell scripts and commands to automate certain tasks and to change settings in bulkInstalling public and local certificates on various systemsKnowledge of Network devices & FirewallHardware and software troubleshooting – critically analyse a symptom, diagnose a fault, plan and take appropriate action on equipment including PCs, printers, servers, and networking etc.Experience managing and maintaining Mac’s in an enterpriseManage and administer servers and systems to ensure system integrityPlan, design, and implement identified special technology projectsOversee the evaluation of system performance and recommend improvementsCoordinate the troubleshooting and the support calls with external providersManage the preparation of technical and functional documentations for required systemsCoordinate the completion of Standard Operating Procedures for relevant servers and systemsPerform root cause analysis of complex server system problems and provide corrective actionProactively monitor backups and server logs.Work through alerts raised by alert software for proactive fixingProactively monitor client updates using SCCM or WSUSWork with a change control policy on any changesCompile Server daily/weekly/monthly reports for the IT ManagerExecute duties in accordance with ITIL framework guidelinesAssemble and load servers with the Hyper-V role, understanding how networking and storage works with Hyper-VLog calls with external providers where and when necessaryParticipate in regular staff meetings, staff training programs, supervisory sessions, and accept the responsibility for aiding the development of positive team relationships as requested.Work with the IT Manager to identify single points of failure and to work out Disaster Recovery plans & make recommendations to the IT Manager on budget items.Qualifications & Required SkillsGraduation and Post-graduation in IT.5 to 8 years’ experience in Network and SecurityExpertise with implementing, configuring, and testing solutions.Experience in working in Global / Cross-functional matrix environment.Emotional Intelligence.Strategic Thinking & Foresight.Benefits:Culture – A blend of fun and learningsGet exposure of working with fortune 100 clients globallyThis is an exciting opportunity to work with India’s fastest growing company that rewards achievements and provide endless career opportunities.
