We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Advisor to be part of the growing Solution Centre working collaboratively with the Middle East Strategic Consulting team. You will play a crucial role in providing consulting and advisory support to hospital leaders, health facility owners, operators, managers, medical directors, etc.
Responsibilities: The candidate will work with a high degree of independence and possess the following:
Capability to present proposals and solutions at both staff and executive levels.
Engage with the local community and build relationships with health organizations, government agencies, and stakeholders. Includes participating in healthcare initiatives, collaborating on public health programs, and promoting health education and awareness.
Identifying opportunities for technological advancements of health facilities while maintaining knowledge of new technologies. This may include electronic health record systems, telemedicine solutions, data analytics, patient-facing and patient-utilization solutions and other digital tools to improve efficiency, lower costs of operations, and enhance patient outcomes.
Assist health facilities in developing emergency response procedures for events such as natural disasters or disease outbreaks. Develop contingency plans to maintain essential healthcare services during emergencies.
Your responsibilities may include, based upon your skillset:
Development of Strategic plans and Master Plans – Develop long-term strategies to achieve the organization’s goals and objectives. This involves analysing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and utilizing data to develop options which enhance the delivery of healthcare services.
Working with health facility teams, advise on costs, both for operational and capital planning activities inclusive of cost -saving measures.
Development Quality Management criteria, including best practice models. Utilization of evidence-based practices to enhance existing services offered by health facility.
Policy development – Work closely with health facilities to develop policies and procedures which enhance the outcomes of the services provided.
Regulatory reviews and advice, aligned with industry regulations and standards; and
Other functions related to health facility management and operations.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
As a successful candidate you will have degree in healthcare administration, public health, health economics or a related field.
8-10 years of experience of working in a similar capacity, preferably within a consulting framework.
Basic knowledge of healthcare financing, health insurance, or payment models.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
