Mainframe Support – Night Shift

Position Type: Full-time

About the team

What you will be doing

Providing production support and handling inquiries and resolves issues.

Assisting in the daily coordination of various assigned projects.

Handling impact analysis and operational readiness procedures.

Developing and supporting Mainframe tools and services to automate processes.

Determining gaps in procedures/processes and making recommendations for improvement.

Assisting with server network related issues or configurations.

Developing technical designs that will meet system objectives and minimize operation impact.

What you bring

2 to 5 years of experience in Mainframe technologies.

Good analytical skills in Mainframe related issues and abends.

Good knowledge of COBOL, VSAM, JCL, DB2.

Preferred experience in IMS DB/DC, CTRL+M.

Availability for rotational shifts (L1 and L2) with US day shift.

Bonus if you have

Experience in messaging such as file transmissions using NDM, SFTP.

Experience with Splunk.
