This role is in the Digital and Platform Services (DPS) organization in Mumbai-India & part of Wholesale Payments Operations.
Candidate will be a part of strategic execution projects team managing the global liquidity management application across various APAC/EMEA or WHEM markets. The position will work closely with cross functional partners like Product development, Solution Delivery, Central and Local Product Management, implementation, Client Services and Technology. Role is to manage all the system development / enhancement projects across the suite of liquidity solutions platforms, in close partnership with Product & Technology and work on new business transformation agenda.
Key Responsibilities would include:–
Work with product development team and product management team to finalize complex solution offerings for local and global clients
Be “the expert” on the liquidity management application with solid product understanding.
Need working knowledge in liquidity product setups ( Cash concentration, pooling , optimization)
Need to assess the impact of every project to the operations processes, and provides inputs into each phase of the PDF cycle, from requirements to deployment
Be involved in Incident management during system issues.
Submitting operations requirements for the platform builds
Review of the business requirements submitted by Product to ascertain operations procedure and impacts due to manual and exception processes
Tracking the platform and product releases and representing operations (both Mumbai & Manila) in the forum including product and technology
Providing sign off on the functional requirements and system design
Monitoring the user acceptance testing and reviewing defects raised with a view to ascertain the impact to Operations
Ensuring operations performs prerelease and post release validations for the platform releases
Assisting in documenting the operations procedure and providing training to the operations teams on the new functionalities
Be involved in each stage of the Project Delivery Framework (PDF) from requirements to deployment and implementation.
Responsible for collating all operational ideas to evaluate them to determine if there is business value for a project for subsequent conversion into a formal, planned project request.
Defines a high-level scope, plans, and estimates of a project request to establish stakeholder expectation and create and/or review project requirements, development and testing.
Planning co-ordination and execution of User Acceptance Testing, including documentation for management and audit purposes
The role has no direct staff management responsibilities, you will have to work closely with other teams across operations,
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Should possess a minimum of 10+ years of experience in Transaction Banking or Project manager experience
Experience in Cash Management especially in Liquidity Management. To be well versed with Liquidity product offering i.e. Cash Concentration Sweep, Notional pooling (Single & Multiple currencies) & Notional pooling with Interest Optimization.
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written)
Proactively question and improve status quo/ “think outside the box” to improve productivity, data accuracy and reporting process
Ability to develop creative solutions to problems and work in the larger team
Strong networking and interpersonal skills, forming positive working relationship in a matrix management and multicultural environment
Experience with Agile delivery methods
Team player, ability to work with people with diverse backgrounds
Shift -EMEA hours –Flexible to rotate, if required.
