Job Description:
Engineer / Senior Engineer for rollout release – Acoustic Sensor Microphone Hardware Engineer

Mercedes-Benz Research and Development, India is seeking Engineers /Senior Engineer with a strong system and vehicle electronic systems knowledge to work in the areas of Microphone component (Hardware) and Driver/Driving Assistance systems.

Key Job Responsibilities: HW expert / Base Sw Expert

• Coordination with FuSi, Security, Hardware and system experts to derive Microphone function performance recommendations.
• Perform HW checks . Analyze changes in HW packets and give an expert feedback
• Analyze EMC finding and give expert opinion
• Measure and analyze vehicle test reports(Bugs etc) from field, customer and vehicle tests and provide engineering solution
• Responsible for resolving On vehicle diagnostics issues
• Responsible for Base software release including Variant coding on vehicle

Basic Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communication/Electrical and Electronics Engineering or relevant Engineering domain
• 2-7 years of overall experience

Key Skills and Experience:

• Knowledge of component/ Hw variants
• Expert Hardware / PCB level knwoledge
• Experience in dealing with colleagues from plant and suppliers
• Exposure in one of the following areas – Radar, Microphone Functions, Microphone based driver assistance systems, Park Assistant systems , Ultrasonic sensors, Camera Based assistance systems
• Speaking skills in German language is highly desirable

Tools:

• Measurement data analysis tools.
• Canape, Canoe,( Test Ethernet (Benches/HIL.)
• VN1610(CAN),VN5620(Ethernet),VN7620(Flexray).
• Capl/ Python scripting

Preferred Skills:

• Expertise on automotive Microphonetesting
• Usage of tools – MS excel, Databases, project planning tools
• Knowhow of control unit software development
• Excellent skills and ability to work in & contribute as a good team player
• Minimum 2 years experience in the automotive, ADAS field and exposure of multi-cultural environment is an added advantage.
