Job Profile

PurposeofRole

This AVP role is in the Global Financial Crimes Division of MUFG Bank, Ltd. The role will be focused on developingand maintaining technological and automated solutions like VBA, MS Access, MS Excel, and SQL to enable thelogging, tracking, and reporting on the existence and status of Financial Crimes issues in accordance with the GlobalFinancialCrimes ComplianceEscalationandIssue ManagementStandard.

MainResponsibilities

• Support the VP of Global Financial Crimes Issues Management Data Sourcing & Technology in the developmentand migration of global financial crimes issues management, analytics, and reporting capabilities usingSharePoint,MS Office,andVBA.
• Work on migrating Issue Management tracking databases from Microsoft Access and SharePoint to anothersustainable andscalablesolution.
• Drive and document system requirements, capabilities, data quality rules, reporting, and updates in accordancewith internalproceduresandrequirements.
• Workwithstakeholderstoestablishdatabase accessandtroubleshootconnectivityissues.
• Track execution of tasks to ensure transparency and compliance with Global Financial Crimes Divisionrequirements.
• Develop and review ongoing performance of processes and strategies related to automation of IM functionsincluding generation ofemailnotifications, workflows,and escalations.
• RepresentIMteaminmeetingsrelated totechnologyandsystemsdevelopment.
• Supportgeneral complianceactivitiesandotherduties, includingspecialprojects asassigned.
• Gain familiarity with the MUFG financial crimes compliance framework, including the roles of Internal Audit andCompliance Testing.
• Develop an understanding of global Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions and Anti-Bribery & Corruption(ABC)regulatoryregime.
