Established in 2020, MUFG Global Service Private Limited (MGS) is 100% subsidiary of MUFG having offices in Bengaluru and Mumbai. MGS India has been set up as a Global Capability Centre / Centre of Excellence to provide support services across various functions such as IT, KYC/ AML, Credit, Operations etc. to MUFG Bank offices globally. MGS India has plans to significantly ramp-up its growth over the next 18-24 months while servicing MUFGs global network across Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific.

Job Profile

The Global HR Technology Project Manager will manage multiple medium to large scale global HR technology projects. They will plan, establish, and manage HR Technology projects and will serve as a liaison between the business, stakeholders, and project team of assigned projects.

Position details

Requires managing multiple technical and non-technical project teams or external vendors. Projects assigned are generally highly complex and multi-disciplinary. We operate in a highly collaborative environment. The position reports to our Director of Global HR Operations (based in Seattle, Washington, USA).

Normally, this position is a 40-hour per week position with Monday through Friday work hours. Work hours are generally aligned with the four time zones of the United States of America (USA); however, this position does work globally on a regular basis and scheduling flexibility to allow for regular connection with colleagues in EMEA and APAC time zones is critical.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage projects through the entire project life cycle ensuring systems meet design standards and guidelines, ensure successful completion within scope, budget, time, and quality parameters.
• Partner with project sponsors, stakeholders, and project teams to lead the definition of and evaluate technical/business requirements, define project scope, and objectives.
• Establish and manage project plans and schedules, track project milestones, manage and account for unforeseen delays, realign schedules and expectations as needed.
• Develop and implement project communication plans; prepare and present project documentation, including status updates, project plans, and other reporting documents.
• Facilitates the coordination of meetings and deliverables between project teams and/or business functions.

Job Requirements:

• Must have at least 10 years of full-time, complex HR Technology Project Management work experience in a global organization.
• Must have at least 5 years of experience with Workday HCM is also required.
• A bachelors degree is required.
• A PMP (or similar) certification is required as is a strong understanding of project management methodologies and the project management life cycle.
• Must be an expert user in Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, and Excel.
• Must be organized, with attention to detail.
• Must have excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Must have excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Must be proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of HR technology.
• A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is required (certification at the Black Belt-level is preferred).
• General understanding of the various Human Resources functions (i.e., Timekeeping/Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Compensation, etc.) is required.

Technical Skills:

• 10+ years of full-time, complex and global HR technology project management work experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Workday HCM.
• Expert user of Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, Excel, and Outlook.
• Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of HR technology.
• Project Management Certification (PMP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt Certification, or similar).
