NetApp is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our Hybrid File System storage development team. NetApp Hybrid File System storage team is at the centre of developing and enhancing a software defined enterprise class data storage solution specifically designed for large scale, public and private cloud deployments. This is a great opportunity to work on a high-powered team delivering an industry changing product within an extremely high growth sector of the tech industry.
• Strong Experience with all the areas such as File Systems, Storage, Kernel Programming, OS internals, Systems Programming, Data Protection, Disaster recovery, replication backup and Cloud. Programming languages – C/C++
• Functional debugging, design, and coding. Develop subject matter expertise; Handle escalations/case swarming/BURTs/core analysis & automation.
• Ability to provide deep technical summary as needed by stakeholders (such as TSC/CAP/CCT/ProdOps/IT)
• Analyze & highlight trends from Escalations/Core Dumps
• Identify & develop supportability requirements, ability to participate in product feature development.
• Actively participate in FS/TOI/Code Reviews
• Contribute to technical wealth of the team such as VODs, TechTalks, design docs, internal working of product, troubleshooting techniques, etc.
• Contribute to training/tech talks and provide technical mentorship to juniors.
