Location : GurgaonAbout the Role : Assistant Manager-ESGWe are looking for a skilled sustainability professional to join ‘Nxtra by Airtel’ ESG team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding in multiple sustainability domains such as GHG inventorization, water, waste, diversity & inclusion, sustainability reporting, governance, sustainable supply chain etc. The candidate should be self-driven, have a good awareness of digital and technology trends.Responsibilities:Drives ESG initiatives and strategies with various internal stakeholders for data centersContributes to ESG reporting processes and other disclosuresIdentify opportunities in ESG disclosures and work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve upon disclosuresMonitoring the sustainability initiatives and ensuring that the program stays on trackCollecting the data against sustainability KPIs on a monthly basis and developing insights for improvement· Identifying ESG related risks and developing an action plan to mitigate the risksWorks with external stakeholders to implement Scope 3 reduction strategiesSupports individual buildings projects with subject matter expertiseProactively responds to ESG requirements from clientsCoordinating the organization’s Sustainability journey, acting as a bridge between the businesses and corporate leadership.Qualifications:Experience working in or with global corporate organizations driving ESG initiatives· Good understanding of data and technology levers and their role in driving sustainability goals.Up to date knowledge of ESG regulations, trends and reporting frameworksSelf-motivated and detail orientedDemonstrated leadership and adaptability skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation skills.Curiosity, commitment to learning and development, and willingness to learn fast.Education:Bachelor’s in Engineering, Sustainability or related technical degreeMaster’s Degree in Technology or Science beneficialESG related certification/license beneficial
