As a Content Editor you will be accountable for core editing, proofreading, and reviewing of the content pieces created by the Content Marketing team, as per the brand and content guidelines of the B2B SaaS company.

You have:
6+ years of extensive experience working as a content professional/editor in a reviewing capacity in an IT company
A Bachelor’s degree from a reputed University
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong command over English & the opted language (verbal and written) and good attention to detail. Must have good proficiency in both written and spoken English
Experience in Microsoft products and Google Workforce applications
Good editing and proofreading skills
The expertise to identify and remove irrelevant content/fluff
What you’ll do:
Provide end-to-end editorial support to the Content Marketing team
Review content for quality based on the content guidelines followed by the team
Thoroughly check content and copy for quality and accuracy
Make suggestions, approve, or disapprove content based on the review checklist:
Check Grammar / Syntax / Punctuation
Check Sentence Construction / Use of Jargons / Simpler Words and Sentences
Check Flow / Narrative / Readability
Check Tone and Voice (Active or Passive)
Check Spelling (US, UK, etc.)
Check Spacing and Case (Sentence Case, Title Case, etc.)
Check Subject Matter Relevance – contact SME if required
Check Sources of Facts and Figures and Cite Them
Check and suggest impactful call to action (CTA)
Review customer-facing emails and provide continuous feedback to the Content Marketing team
Be the custodian of the content guidelines of Replicon
Address questions/issues from the Content Marketing team regarding the review process
Prepare and maintain training documents for writing content effectively. Follow and maintain the internal quality process thoroughly
Act as an SME for content quality and provide specific and timely feedback to the content marketing team
Must be able to effectively and efficiently complete difficult content review goals and assignments
Ensure timely delivery of content as per the given deadlines
Make edits to the content to best serve the purpose that the team is trying to achieve collectively
Provide comprehensive, solution-oriented feedback and suggestions to the Content Marketing team members, with a strong focus on improving the quality of writing
