Position: Teacher

Reports to: Principal/Head of Department

Job Overview:

The teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons to students in their assigned subject area and grade level. The teacher will be expected to follow the school’s curriculum, create lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide individualized support to students as needed. The teacher will also be responsible for maintaining a positive and safe classroom environment, communicating with parents or guardians, and collaborating with colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons to students in their assigned subject area and grade level
• Create and implement lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum and educational standards
• Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback on academic performance to students and parents or guardians
• Provide individualized support to students as needed, including extra help, academic counseling, or remedial support
• Maintain a positive and safe classroom environment that fosters learning and growth for all students
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
• Attend and participate in faculty meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school-related events as required
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, academic progress, and other relevant information
• Participate in school-wide initiatives and programs, such as extracurricular activities, service projects, and student organizations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
• Teaching certification or licensure
• Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering engaging lessons to students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning
• Passion for teaching and helping students achieve their full potential.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹15,000.00 – ₹50,000.00 per month
