All our software applications are driven off data and the accuracy of that data is critical to our company being successful. This role is crucial in understanding the inner workings of the various DATA aspects of the platform including the troubleshooting & resolutions of those issues.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAbility to work well under pressure for critical issues that require prompt response and resolution of the indicated issues.Ability to work well with timelines / deadlines and working to identify potential issues early and address those issues early.Coordinate with vendors to set up and troubleshoot software/data integrations.Create or modify SSIS packages for specific data integration requirements.Create, modify, and debug complex stored procedure.Convert, manipulate, and scrub large volumes of data in various formats in SQL Server /2008/2012/2016, and Advanced Microsoft ExcelMaintain a high-level of customer satisfaction with exceptional customer service, technical and consultative skillsProfessional & Timely communication through its various forms such as e-mail, IM, phone, and other areas is essential.Foster Teamwork: Work cooperatively with your team members and project team members to bring cohesiveness to the group.Coach and mentor staff as appropriate to improve performance.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Bachelor’s Degree Required. Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, computer information systems or IT Management.Excellent communication skills & detail orientedAdvanced troubleshooting skills & root cause analysis understandingExtremely detail oriented.Technica l:Experience in writing complex T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, triggers using SQL Server 2012/2016Very strong T-SQL experience is a must haveExperience in query optimization and performance tuningExperience in Basic SQL Administration tasks like Database Backup & Restore, configuring SQL Agents JobsExperience in Data Migration projects is an added advantage.MS SQL Server Stored Procedures: 3-4 years of hands-on experienceSSIS Packages Development : 2-3 yearsPosition involves 80% of responsibilities on T-SQL and 20% on SSIS.
