Minimum Qualification • Bachelor’s degree in logistics/supply chain or related field.Minimum Experience • Minimum 10 Years hands -on experience in depot operationMust have experience within a busy Container Terminal (with a highvolume).• Behavioural Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)• Ability to work in a challenging environment.• Highly assertive, Self- driven; Ability to work under pressure and beyond normal working hours; Excellent Planning and Organizing Skills• Computer Literate and Innovation Knowhow.• Understanding of basic accounting principles• Have special training for handling Hazard & fire fighting. • Advanced knowledge of different container types (reefer, dry, food grade, liner bags) and extra- ordinary containers’ maintenance needs.• Advanced knowledge of a container lifecycle from import dispatch to container turn-in• Traceable knowledge of the tools and methods to monitor the availability/quantity of empty container stocks at ports, in transit and at depots.• Proficient understanding and application of the Electronic Data Interchange Tracking Process.• Knowledge of distinctive inland transportation operative models of rail and truckers.• Technical familiarity of depot machinery and their technical features, mechanical components and maintenance needs.
