Job Summary

Engineer – Virtual Engineering Body (CAD) will perform Virtual Assessments and Robotic simulations for all

global product programs & will report to Engineering Manager – Virtual Engineering Body. This role interfaces

with global stakeholders to plan, organize, manage and deliver the studies meeting all scorecard metrics. The

individual in this role will interface with regional/global Body SMEs for all Virtual Engineering Body (CAD) related activities.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Perform robotic simulation and manufacturing assessment studies for various product programs.

Drive development, testing and implementation of new technologies in virtual simulations including

immersive opportunities in Body (VR, AR, MR) to gain competitive advantage.

Achieve process excellence metrics like 100% First Time Quality, 100% On time delivery through standardized work.

Review work content, scope, deliverable, timeline, resource requirements and allocate resources, monitor

progress, manage communications, seek & evaluate customer feedback and drive changes as appropriate

Represent VE Body in the appropriate forums. Participate in global councils & technical team meetings and report out team accomplishments.

Capture and share lessons learned with team, Product Interface, Pre Production Operations Shopfloor engineers, VE counterparts at different regions.

Drive continuous process improvement within the team.
