Duties
Basic Function of the Position: The position is located in the Regional Security Office (RSO), U.S. Embassy New Delhi. The incumbent will be required to support the RSO Residential Security Program. The incumbent duties include conducting residential security surveys, working with contractors, installation and maintenance of residential security systems, and the operation and maintenance of other security equipment. S/he will be directly supervised by Locally Employed Staff (LES) Residential Security Coordinator. The incumbent will also perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: The position requires two years of experience with low voltage alarm systems in residential, office, or industrial environments.

Education Requirements:
The position requires successful completion of Secondary School (Class X) and completion of three years diploma in any of the following fields of study: Electronics, Electrical, Communication, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering or Technology is required.

(Your answer should also let us know if you have completed Class X or XII or any other degree or vocational courses. Evaluations:
LANGUAGE:
Level 3 (Good working knowledge) in English (Reading, Writing, and Speaking) is required. This may be tested.
AND
Level 4 (Good working knowledge) in Hindi (Reading, Writing, and Speaking) is required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Valid Indian Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving license is required.
Please attach a copy of the valid Indian driving license with the application along with all the mandatory/required documents. Applications which do not have a copy of the license will not be accepted.
Please note: U.S. Government regulations require all Chauffeurs or Incidental drivers for official vehicles to be 25 years of age or older. We will not consider candidates below 25 years of age. Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in New Delhi, India may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.
For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.
The pay plan is assigned at the time the conditional offer letter is issued by the HR Office.
