Duties
Basic Function of the Position: The position is located in the Information Management Office (IMO), U.S. Embassy New Delhi. Under the supervision of the Information Management Specialist (IMS), the incumbent will be required to supervise the Information Resource Management (IRM) Remote Communications office. S/he will be required to supervise two employees in the section. S/he will be directly responsible for the mission India’s mobile phone program. S/he will manage all residential phone and internet billing and first level troubleshooting, and will be responsible for over 700,000 dollars of mobile device inventory and 800,000 dollars in annual billing to a multitude of vendors. The incumbent will act as the primary interface between the user community and vendor and is the senior point of contact in addressing vendor administrative matters. The incumbent will also perform other duties as assigned. Note: The incumbent will occasionally requested to sit late and work overtime during projects or resolving faulty land-line issues.

This position requires three years of experience in customer service or data management or administration skills.

This position requires successful completion of two years of college studies.

The pay plan is assigned at the time the conditional offer letter is issued by the HR Office.
