Roles and responsibilities
You will have the responsibility of managing finance, budgeting, forecasting and FP&A along with ensuring smooth day to day operations.
Accounting and Financial Analysis –
Ensure books of accounts of the company are correct and up to date at all times
Preparation of monthly & annual financial MIS
Help in setting Company targets, monitoring and ensuring timely corrective actions.
Coordinating with various consultants and ensuring all the compliance are regularly complied with
All Indian and US filings- as and when notified are duly completed.
Review ledgers & co-ordinate with the team for book closure activities (monthly & annual)
Funds Management
Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs and available funds for investment
Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements
Revenue assurance and Accounts receivable
Ensuring all invoices are raised and revenue booked on time
Ensure GST and TDS compliances including all reconciliations
Collections management and maintaining relations with the debtors
Budgeting
Support preparation of the company’s budget
Liaison with departments on monthly budget & consumption
Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances
Audit and Due-diligence
Own up and close audit- Statutory and Internal.
Own and complete due diligence- as and when required by investors/ potential investors.
Requirements
2-3 years of experience in Finance department of Tech startup, B2B SaaS preferred
Understanding of overall SaaS reporting is preferred
Understanding of US compliance (W-9, 1099) is good to have
Knowledge of Chargebee, Quickbooks, Stripe and Zohobooks
Excellent communication skills and grasp on numbers
Undergraduate degree from Tier 1 college in B.Com/BBA/Economics
